My name is Sofia Urbina. I am a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at Rice University working in the Preston Innovation Laboratory.

My research focuses on the design of integrated fluidic control systems. I explore how logic and control functions can be embedded into sheet-based architectures for soft robots and wearable devices.
